Buckeye Roadhouse

Buckeye Roadhouse, the local restaurant in Marin County, California. Rustic on the outside, with a warm and inviting interior. Established in 1937, it has garnered a reputation of melding old world charm with modern California cuisine.

In 2007, I helped them redesign their website, focusing on the rich environment and the delicious fare that they are know for.

The square format was intended to mimic a window, framing close-up imagery of the dishes, diners seated enjoying their meals and the classic ornaments and fixtures surrounding the dining room and bar area.

Presented are two additional visual directions that unfortunately didn’t go into production.
